Looking for a fun and delicious 'snack'tivity to do with you friends and family that celebrates and acknowledges the beautiful planet we live on.... then look no further!
As per usualy, we've taken a childhool classic and put a healthier & top 10 allergen free spin on it to make it something extra special that can be enjoyed by everyone. The 3 components come together in a flash with little mess but is packed fll with lots of fun, creativity and some nutrients as well. The creamy avocado pudding mixed with a crunchy cookie topping and weaved with bites of chewy, gummy goodness makes this a snack you'll want to have on repeat!
1. The Dirt - Double Chocolate Cookies
This one's easy - we're going to take 2 x 2 packs of the Allergy Smart - Double Chocolate Cookies and crunch them up in the individually wrapped pouches to break them down until they become nice and crumbly like dirt / soil.
2. The mud - avocado chocolate pudding
This is the only step that requires any sort of prep work but it's worth it. Hav e you ever tried AVOCADO CHOCOLATE PUDDING? Us neither, until now.... and we're telling you, do not sleep on this!!! It came out creamy and delcisious and without even the slightlest hint of an avocado taste.... That's called a win!
Here's what you need
1) 2 x ripe avocados
2) 1/2 Cup Milk Alternative of choice
3) 3-4 tbsp of Cocoa Powder (depending on how chocolately you like it)
4) 4-6 tbsp of Maple Syrup (to taste)
5) 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
6) Hint of Salt
Now - put everything into a high speed blender and blend it all together unti it is nice and smooth like a pudding. You might want to stop and wipe down the sides and then keep going.
3. The worms - gummy worms
Choose your favorite gummy worm or gummy based product to mix into the mud.
now - we assemble...and enjoy
In a small glass bowl or cup place some gummy worms at the bottom, top with the avocado "mud" pudding and then cover with the crumbled Allergy Smart Double Chocolate cookies on top. PRO TIP: We like to add some extra worms poking their little heads out for extra PZAZZ!
